YRM series rail mounted energy meters
The YRM series rail mounted energy meter is a new generation of miniaturized intelligent energy meters developed by our company based on years of experience in energy meter design and application. The YRM series energy meters include two specifications: YRM201 (single-phase) and YRM203 (three-phase), which are further divided into two types: basic energy meters and compound rate energy meters. Compound rate energy meters can be set for clock, rate period, and other settings. This series of energy meters is designed using internationally advanced chips and technologies. While ensuring quality and stability, it also has the advantages of small size, easy installation (using DIN35mm guide rail installation), and direct access to low-voltage systems with current circuits below 50A. It can communicate with microcomputers through RS-485 communication interface using MODBUS-RTU protocol, greatly facilitating automatic management of electricity consumption, It can be widely used for energy management in decentralized or intensive distribution installations such as smart building distribution. This series of meters has extremely high accuracy and good anti electromagnetic interference performance, fully complying with the relevant technical requirements of Class 1 and Class 2 electronic energy meters in the national standard DL/T614-1997 and GB/T17215-2002.
Application Description
1: Measure and display commonly used power parameters such as single-phase or three-phase voltage and current through button switching, measure positive and negative active energy, and have automatic power direction recognition and indication functions;
2: Optional time-sharing and multi rate electricity metering function, which can be set to peak, flat, and valley rates through buttons or upper computer (three-phase meters can be set to peak, peak, flat, and valley rates), and daily time periods can be set to 8 or 12 time periods (to be specified);
3: Equipped with one RS485 communication interface, MODBUS-RTU protocol or DL/T645 protocol can be used
4: With an active electrical energy pulse output, users need to connect an external voltage of DC5~35V to use it;
5: Current circuits below 50A in low-voltage systems can be directly connected without the need for additional current transformers. Current circuits above 50A are equipped with a measuring CT with a secondary current of 5A, and the secondary line is connected (for medium and high voltage parts, the voltage is connected through PT and the current is connected through CT);
6: Voltage signal power supply, no auxiliary power supply required:
7: The 7-bit wide temperature LCD directly displays the actual power consumption, and other data can be flipped through the left and right buttons on the instrument panel
8: Compact size, 35mm standard guide rail installation square

Connection
The Y R M series rail mounted energy meters support two wiring methods: primary connection (direct connection) and secondary connection (through current transformer CT connection).
-
Method 1: Wiring party for single-phase rail type energy meters (YRM101, YRM201, where YRM101 does not support CT connection)
-
Method 2: Three phase four wire rail type energy meter (YRM203) connection
